Silent Auction to Benefit Baseball Miracles

Nov 22 - Dec 14 at Marlboro Library
November 19, 2013

Baseball lovers of all ages should stop by the Marlboro Library community room anytime from November 22nd through December 14th for your chance to bid on autographed baseball memorabilia with proceeds to benefit the Marlboro Library and Baseball Miracles. Items up for bid are framed autographed photos of Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, Catfish Hunter, Jacoby Ellsbury, Brooks Robinson and others. Signed baseballs include those of national and international baseballs stars. These items make unique holiday gifts while proceeds support two worthwhile causes!

Winners will be announced on December 14th, when from 1pm-4pm, all are welcome to attend a fun, educational baseball clinic and open house hosted by former Major League Baseball player and Hudson Valley Renegades staff member, Rob Bell. Mr. Bell will be answering questions, offering advice, and speaking about his years in baseball and the Major Leagues. Free raffle tickets for items such as bats and gloves will be given to all those who stop by the open house on December 14th. Don't miss your chance to win a free raffle! Please RSVP through the Library event calendar . Walk-ins welcome.

ABOUT BASEBALL MIRACLES:

Baseball Miracles is a team of baseball and softball instructors who join together to teach boys and girls with economic and environmental disadvantages throughout the world. We strive to reach out especially to the youth who have never played the game. At no cost, we provide instruction, gloves, bats, hats, shirts, and memories. In reaching these objectives we receive no financial compensation but we do seek and search out sponsorship to get us to our destinations. Our mission is to serve others with joy by having fun like when seeing a child hit and catch a ball for the first time. Or by watching their expressions when they see their very own baseball card that our photographer creates for them! How special it will be to have a former Major League pitcher show you how to throw a curve ball or have ML scouts watch you run and slide into a base. We truly believe in miracles and we invite you to support us with your thoughts, prayers and good wishes.
