Friendly and outgoing personalities will help guests find their seats and assist them with other stadium directions. The position requires that ushers know the stadium inside and out - sections, concessions, first aid, restrooms, etc. Help educate fans on stadium rules regarding outside food and beverage, smoking, and alcohol. Assist in keeping melaleuca field the cleanest ballpark in MiLB by maintaining a clean section during games. Wipe down seats before the game. The position includes emptying trash cans when necessary, picking up trash around and under seats, cleaning up minor spills, notifying the Clean Team of major spills, and helping to separate trash, recycling, and compost materials. Promote guest safety through rapid response to foul balls. Must be conscious of all activities in your assigned seating area and be able to police area. This position requires that ushers be able to tactfully approach fans to check tickets and direct them to the proper seat locations. Lead your section in cheers, songs, and dances to create a fun stadium atmosphere. Professionally represent the Idaho Falls Chukars. Chukars Customer Service Goal: The Idaho Falls Chukars organization provides affordable family entertainment for everyone by creating a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere while exceeding guest expectations. Begins 1.5 hours before the game starts until shortly after the end of the game. The position requires standing in place for 2-3 hours, bending and stretching. Seating Ushers must have the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing over 25 pounds.
The Ticket Window Day of Game Seller is responsible for maximizing individual ticket sales using the Ticket Return ticket system in addition to providing exceptional customer service at the Melaleucas Field ticket windows, with shifts occurring primarily on Game Days, before and through game time. In this position, it is critical that individuals are highly engaged and display a strong sales and service focus while thoroughly enjoying interacting with a diverse group of consumers. Interactions will consist of single event ticket purchases; ticket exchanges will call transactions, and future event related to ticket sales while using soft skills like active listening and anticipating customer needs. This position will also be responsible for suggestively cross-selling and up-selling, as well as fielding general customer service inquiries regarding all Melaleuca Field and Idaho Falls Chukars Events.
These employees are expected to provide "positively outrageous customer service" to all customers. Their duties include gathering food as ordered and utilizing the POS system to input customer orders and make change accordingly. Employees can well with large groups of people in a fast-paced work environment. Cleans dining and concession areas; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers. Assists in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas when needed. Takes and records the temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food and Any additional tasks assigned by management. Picnic Area Employee: Prepare and serve all food and beverage items associated with game day picnics. Break down and clean-up of the picnic area following each event.
Waxie Clean Up Crew:
The cleanliness of Melaleuca field is of the utmost importance to ensure a positive fan experience. Prepare and keep the stadium clean at all times. Areas of focus, but not limited to, seating bowl area, restrooms, concourse, indoor/outdoor suites, and stadium grounds. Independent and hardworking, must be able to do physically demanding work and lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to work during all games Hours: begins 30 mins before the game until shortly after the end of the game.
Customer Service employees are responsible for working in the Chukars main office. Employees are to answer information inquiries, as well as selling merchandise to customers in the team store. Must have excellent customer service skills, Quick paced conflict resolution, Strong verbal communication skills, Ability to deal with a wide variety of fans and personalities, Distribute promotional material to qualified guests. Develop a strong knowledge of products as well as general stadium information. Prior cashiering/retail experience preferred but not required. Hours: begins 2 hours before the game until shortly after the end of the game (day time hours also available)
An ideal candidate for this role will have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. Assist with external promotional events such as player and mascot appearances as well as other community appearances. Assist with mascot during games. Helping with taking pictures and moving mascot through crowds unscathed. Ensure proper preparation and execution of in-game entertainment and other stadium events, including appropriate upkeep of promotional items and equipment. Promotion employees are responsible for developing fun and interactive in-game and mascot entertainment. Assist with on-field operations including all pre-game, between inning and post-game promotions. Assist with social media when needed. Assist all members of the Promotions team, or upper management when needed. Hours: begins 1 hour before the game until shortly after the end of the game.
