BRADENTON, Fla. - Expected to start today's spring game for Pittsburgh, southpaw Steven Brault has kept Indianapolis Indians fans entertained on and off the field each of the last two seasons. In 2017, the SoCal native delivered one of the more dominant seasons by a Tribe pitcher in franchise history en route to International League Most Valuable Pitcher honors.

He led the Indians in wins (10), ERA (1.94) and batting average against (.199). His 1.94 ERA also paced all IL qualifiers, and it made him just the third Tribe pitcher ever and first since 1945 to lead his respective league with a sub-2.00 ERA.
Tribe fans submitted questions to Brault during a live segment on the Indy Indians Instagram account (@indyindians). Some of those questions and his answers are below.
If you end up in the bullpen what will your approach be?
"Throw super hard and strike people out. That's probably what it would be. As a bullpen pitcher you have to get stuff done quick, I'm not really used to that. I'm more of the starter type, we'll see what happens.
Have you ever been to Ireland?
"I have never been to Ireland. One of my best friends is actually from Ireland though, so I plan on going very soon. I think he lives in the Dublin area.
What are your thoughts on your bobblehead?
"Well my bobblehead looks amazingly like me. It's got the mole and it's got my tattoos. It's awesome. I can't wait to see it in person. I've seen the pictures of it, it's pretty sweet. I can't wait to have one of my own and bobble [my head] along with myself.
Where do you live in the offseason?
"I live in San Diego, beautiful San Diego, California. It's hard to beat. I've thought about leaving there a few times, but I don't think I can. It's just too nice.
Did you get any new tattoos this offseason and who does your tattoos?
"I got a lot of new tattoos this offseason. There's a guy in San Diego that does all my tattoos. He takes his time, does it right; it doesn't feel good but it goes well.
Favorite spot to go out in Indy?
"I love Kilroy's. I also love Brothers, Brothers is cool. Howl at the Moon is not my scene really.
Funny story from camp so far?
"Well we did a talent show thing today (Monday), and everybody just made fun of each other which was awesome. It was a lot of fun. Some guys did a pie-eating contest, some guys did a skit and some guys danced to music."
