Homestand Highlights: July 4 - July 6

Promos Include Fireworks, Team Autographs & Team Card Set

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians return to Victory Field on Friday, July 4 to host the beginning of an action-packed, 12-game homestand. The Tribe's upcoming weekend series will include Friday (July 4) and Saturday (July 5) matchups against the Louisville Bats, Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, and a Sunday-evening (July 6) showdown against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. As part of the Tribe's special Fourth of July Weekend celebration, the three-game home series will be highlighted by a fireworks show after each contest, and both a team card set giveaway and team autograph session on Signature Saturday, July 5.

Independence Day Celebration - Celebrate Independence Day with an evening of America's pastime at Victory Field. The evening's celebration will begin with a special, pre-game Independence Day presentation by the Indiana National Guard, before the hometown Tribe dons special "Stars and Stripes" hats to take on its division rival, the Louisville Bats.
Note: Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Postgame Fireworks - Fans are invited to remain in the comfort of their own seats at the ballpark as the Indians and downtown Indianapolis each host their own Independence Day fireworks show. The exciting pyrotechnics displays will include a show from downtown Indianapolis' annual Freedom Blast, which is scheduled to start at 10:00 p.m., and the Indians' own holiday fireworks show, which will launch between the conclusion of the evening's game and the downtown Freedom Blast.

Note: The Fourth of July Celebration has sold out earlier than any other Independence Day contest in Victory Field history. However, fans may still purchase tickets for the remaining games of the holiday weekend on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6.

Team Autograph Session - Come out and meet your 2014 Indianapolis Indians squad as the reigning division champs will be on-hand to meet fans and sign autographs from 5:45-6:30 p.m.
Note: Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Team Card Set Giveaway -  The first 2,500 patrons through Victory Field's turnstiles will receive the annual edition of the Tribe's team card set -- a perfect item to have signed during the evening's team autograph session.

Postgame Fireworks - Fans are invited to stick around after the game to catch the second of the weekend's three fantastic fireworks shows.

SUNDAY, JULY 6 VS. LEHIGH VALLEY             6:05 p.m.

Kids Eat Free - Your kids' dinner is on the Indians as children ages 14 and under receive a voucher for one hot dog, a bottle of water and one bag of chips with the price of admission.

Psychedelic-Sunday Postgame Fireworks - The Tribe will send the Fourth of July Weekend off in style with a one-of-a-kind, Psychedelic-Sunday themed fireworks show. This weekend-capping pyrotechnics display promises to be larger than life as fans may view the show through complimentary 3D glasses, courtesy of Q95 and Gentle Dentist.
