INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians are once again offering fans a chance to get into the holiday spirit with their annual Rowdie Claus meet-and-greet. This free, family-friendly event is set for the Victory Field home clubhouse on Saturday, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented by MedExpress Urgent Care, a national leader in quality walk-in medical care.

"Rowdie Claus has become an annual tradition for Tribe fans," said Joel Zawacki, Indianapolis Indians assistant general manager for corporate sales and marketing. "This year's event is unique since we'll be in our home clubhouse, so fans will get a sneak peek of where our future big leaguers prepare for games. And of course, they'll still get to meet Rowdie up close for a special holiday photo."
Besides Rowdie in his Santa costume, fans can stop for a photo at another holiday display among the Victory Field lockers. There will also be snacks and crafting areas, including a spot to make holiday cards to send to military members. Indianapolis Indians merchandise and ticket packages will also be on sale for those searching for holiday gift ideas.
Parking for the event at Victory Field is free, but fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for a donation to Wheeler Mission Ministries. Attendees should enter the ballpark through the entrance on the south side of the building.
