The 6'3", 225-pound Adolfo is hitting .279 (74-265) with 24 doubles, 10 homers, 42 RBI and 41 runs scored over 68 games with Kannapolis this season, his fourth in the White Sox organization. He leads the Sally League in doubles while ranking second in extra base hits (35) and fourth in total bases (130). Entering the 2017 season, Baseball America rated Adolfo as having the Best Outfield Arm in the White Sox system. In 2016 Adolfo batted .219 with five home runs and 21 RBI in 65 games and 247 at-bats with Kannapolis. The White Sox signed Adolfo as an international free agent on July 2, 2013.

The White Sox named Birmingham Barons left-handed pitcher Jordan Guerrero, who pitched for Kannapolis in 2014-15, the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Month for June. He went 4-0 with a 1.23 ERA (5 ER/36.2 IP) while holding the Southern League to a .195 average in five games (five starts).

Adolfo's honor in June marks the third time this season that a member of the Intimidators earned a White Sox Minor League monthly plaudit. Pitcher Dane Dunning  was named the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April after making four starts with Kannapolis.
