Intimidators to host 2nd annual laser show

Holiday festival Dec. 2-4 to feature Santa, craft market, and more

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Sept. 13, 2016) - The Kannapolis Intimidators are hosting the second annual three-day Holiday Laser Light Experience at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System featuring nightly laser light shows, December 2-4, giving families in the community an affordable way to celebrate the holidays together. General Admission tickets are $5 with kid's tickets just $4 nightly with three laser light shows each night, rain or shine. Gates will open each night at 5:00 p.m. with the first laser show at 6 p.m. Tickets will go on sale in November while group tickets are now available.

Families can enjoy three 20-minute laser light shows Friday-Sunday December 2-4. This dazzling laser light display will entertain parents and kids of all ages. See the Intimidators spread holiday cheer when they light up the sky and play merry music that will wish everyone season greetings. Santa will be on hand for children to ask for their dream presents and have their picture taken. Saint Nicholas will be one of many holiday characters that will be joining in the festivities this holiday season at Intimidators Stadium.

Fans will have their pick of special holiday concession items such as hot chocolate, cider, and holiday cookies while also serving traditional ballpark fare. Craft vendors from all over the Kannapolis area are called on to team up with the Intimidators to add to a holiday bounty that will be offered at Intimidators Stadium this holiday season.

Attractions will be added as we get closer to the weekend of festivities.

Families can browse the craft market on the main concourse between laser shows for ornaments, wreathes and more. Holiday vendors interested in operating a 10x10 booth on all three nights for only $100 (limited to the first 10 vendors) can call 704-932-3267 to reserve your space.

About the Intimidators

The Intimidators are preparing for the 2017 season, the 23rd season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and 17th year as a Chicago White Sox affiliate. Since the team's inception in 1995, a total of 93 players have gone from Kannapolis to the Major Leagues.
