GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 13, 2017) - Yosmer Solorzano spun 7.0 strong innings for the Intimidators, but the Drive's Roldani Baldwin hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth to give Greenville a 2-1 win on Thursday night at Fluor Field.   Kannapolis (8-13 Second Half, 47-42) dropped its third straight game and will now play to avoid a series sweep on Friday.

With the game tied 1-1 going into the ninth, Tyler Hill tripled to center field with one out, and Baldwin followed with the game-winning hit.

Kannapolis had trailed 1-0 since the fourth inning until Micker Adolfo singled in Mitch Roman in the eighth inning to put the Intimidators on the board, tying the game.

Solorzano took no decision while matching his longest outing of the year. He struck out four and walked two while limiting the Drive to a run on four hits.

Drive reliever Pat Goetze (2-1) earned the win while Intimidators reliever Mick VanVossen (3-1) suffered the loss, allowing a run on two hits in 1 and 1/3 innings. Greenville starter Kyle Hart took no decision despite tossing 7.0 scoreless innings.

The Intimidators wrap up this 3-game series on Friday at 7:05 p.m. against the Drive. The team returns to Kannapolis on July 19 for a 7-game home stand that features Star Wars Night with post-game fireworks on Saturday, July 22.
