DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Cubs are excited to bring baseball back to Des Moines and welcome fans back to Principal Park in 2021. With another season of great fun comes our promotional calendar for the month of May. The 2021 May Promotional Schedule features 3 firework dates, weekly promotions, giveaways, and the return of the Demonios de Des Moines.
May single game tickets go on-sale online at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 24. Fans can purchase tickets online as the Iowa Cubs introduce digital ticketing. The Ticket Office at Principal Park will open Monday, April 26 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to assist with questions over the phone.
Weekly promotions returning in 2021 include Mug Club on Thursdays, Firework Fridays, and Sundays will continue with Bike to the Ballpark and Kids Run the Bases postgame.
The I-Cubs will introduce Social Media Saturdays featuring enhanced in-game content across all social media platforms and exclusive giveaways for followers.
6-4-3 Double Play Wednesdays will also be added. Six different food items will be offered for $3 each for one hour after gates open. Concession items include popcorn, peanuts, soda, domestic beer, box of candy, and malt cups.
Highlighting this month's giveaways is our 2021 Magnet Schedule on May 4 and a Schedule Poster on May 18.
The team then transforms into the Demonios de Des Moines for the first time during the 2021 season on May 5.
Dollar Dogs, a fan favorite, will be back in 2021. The first of these dates will be on May 25.
