DES MOINES – Iowa Cubs single game tickets for all May games during the 2021 season will go on sale to the public on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 a.m. These initial tickets will all be reserved seating and will be available for purchase online only as the organization introduces digital ticketing. Fans can purchase tickets at iowacubs.com or through the MiLB First Pitch app.

The ticket office will be open Monday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. to assist fans over the phone with purchasing tickets and redeeming vouchers online. In accordance with requirements from Major League Baseball and the City of Des Moines, Principal Park will operate at a reduced capacity with pod seating and a mandatory mask policy to start the season.

After a lost 2020 season, the reigning PCL American Northern Division Champions will face new opponents in the Midwest Division of the Triple-A East Conference. The Iowa Cubs open the season on May 4 at Principal Park with a 6:38 p.m. first pitch against the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The I-Cubs will also welcome the Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals) and the St. Paul Saints (Minnesota Twins) for six-game series in May. The 60-game home schedule will feature each series running Tuesday-Sunday with 10 Fireworks Fridays, a special Holiday Fireworks show on July 6, a game on Mother’s Day, Copa celebration days featuring Los Demonios de Des Moines, and more. More details on upcoming promotions in May will be announced before tickets go on sale.

In an effort to remain flexible with changing protocols and potential increased capacity opportunities, the opportunity to purchase tickets for the remaining home games will be offered at a later date. Fans can expect a cashless ballpark and new health and safety protocols, including metal detectors at all entrances at Principal Park this year.
