Brooklyn, NY- The Aberdeen IronBirds sent Austin Urban to the hill looking for their first win of the season. It was not meant to be, as the Brooklyn Cyclones used two innings to score three runs and take a 3-0 win in game one of the three game series.

Manny Hernandez had to run a long way to try and catch it, but couldn't come up with it, and it made the score 2-0.
Brooklyn would add one more in the 5th. King reached on a fielder's choice, advanced on a Trey Mancini error, and would score on a passed ball, making it 3-0 Cyclones.
The IronBirds would threaten in the 9th, but Kris Richards hit into a double play to end the game.
