Ball Girls Deadline Extended to February 28th

The deadline to apply to be a member of the first-ever class of East Penn Foot & Ankle Ball Girls has been extended to February 28th. The duties of the position include working on-field during every IronPigs home game as well as representing the organization in the community on various appearances. The Ball Girls will serve as ambassadors for the club both on and off the field and are expected to set a positive example to young girls that have an interest in professional sports.

The requirements for the Ball Girl position include:

• Previous softball experience.
• Knowledge of the game of baseball.
• Communication skills (i.e. taken communications, broadcasting or public speaking classes).
• Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality.
• Flexible schedule that includes the ability to work dates and times on the IronPigs schedule (nights, weekends and holidays).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Interested applicants should submit a resume along with either a DVD or a link to their materials (YouTube, etc.) highlighting their softball experience and explaining the reason why the should be selected as an inaugural IronPigs Ball Girl. Please limit the video length to two minutes or less.
