IronPigs Return for Promotion-Filled Homestand

(Allentown, Pa.) - The red-hot IronPigs - winners of six of their last eight games to move over .500 on the year - return tonight to open an eight-day, eight-game homestand against the Gwinnett Braves and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders. This homestand includes multiple fireworks shows as well great giveaways like an IronPigs hockey cap, a Kevin Frandsen wine cork topper and an IronPigs pizza cutter!

Great seats are still available for the opener and all upcoming games and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447) or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Don't forget to inquire about some of our newest seating areas, including the "Hot Corner" and the "Bacon Strip", which offer IronPigs fans the most unique and distinctive seating and hospitality areas in all of Minor League Baseball.

The festivities get underway tonight with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network Stroke Center immediately following tonight's 7:05 p.m. game between the IronPigs and the G-Braves. It's also Unclaimed Property Night presented by PA Treasury. Just bring a photo ID to Coca-Cola Park and PA Treasury will let you know if you're owed any money from unclaimed goods.

Saturday's 6:35 p.m. game is highlighted by a Hockey Cap giveaway presented by Nacci Printing for the first 3,000 fans 18 and older. Also, stick around post-game for live entertainment in the Red Robin Tiki Terrace featuring the band J2. The post-game activities begin immediately following the final out and continue for an additional 90 minutes.

Celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. with a Kevin Frandsen Wine Cork Topper presented by BSI Corporate Benefits for the first 2,000 women 21 and older. Sunday games are perfect for families as Tootsee the Clown entertains and offers free balloon art for children! Immediately following Sunday's game, all children 12 and under can show off their speed with Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

The IronPigs-Braves series concludes on Monday with a special morning start time of 10:35 a.m. for Education Day #3 presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Beginning Tuesday at 7:05 p.m., the IronPigs welcome the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for a four-game set. All gates open at 5:30 for on-field photo day presented by Split Rock Resort. The on-field photo session with players will take place from 5:30 until 6:15 p.m. A map detailing the player's locations as well as all rules and restrictions will be made available upon entrance.

In addition, during every Tuesday home game fans can play TD Bank Ballpark Bingo for a chance to win a $25 Visa Check Card and a team autographed baseball.

Wednesday's 7:05 p.m. game features an IronPigs Pizza Cutter giveaway presented by Coca-Cola for the first 3,000 fans 18 and older and Thursday's 7:05 p.m. contest includes Ladies Night presented by Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays with gates opening extra-early at 5 p.m. for pre-game Happy Hour with $1 hot dogs and $2 domestic drafts from 5 to 6 p.m.

The homestand concludes on Friday, May 16, at 7:05 p.m. with another spectacular Friday Night Fireworks show presented by Coors Light immediately following the IronPigs-RailRiders series finale.

Fans are reminded that ther are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.

The cost of parking in Coca-Cola Park's "Pig Tail Porking Spaces" is $3 per vehicle for all IronPigs home games. 

Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS. 

Don't forget to ask about the four-person "islands" in the Red Robin Oasis located directly above the left field bullpens. Each island is covered underneath a thatched roof and includes a circular half-table, cocktail-style seating for the four fans in the party and wait service.
