Carlos Tocci hit a walk-off base hit to right field to score Angelo Mora to give the IronPigs (1-0) a 6-5 win in the bottom of the 12th inning to take game one of the International League Governors Cup Semifinal against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (0-1) Thursday night.

RailRiders pitching would walk the bases loaded in the bottom of the 12th , before Tocci's game-winner. With Angelo Mora on second, and Dylan Cozens on first base, RailRiders reliever Tyler Jones would intentionally walk Herlis Rodriguez to load the bases for Tocci. Tocci then responded by sending a bloop single to shallow right field, enough to score Mora from third to give the Pigs the game one victory.
After trailing 5-1 going to the bottom of the sixth inning, the Pigs rallied for a four-run frame to tie the game at 5.
Three-consecutive RBI singles from Mitch Walding, Mora and Cozens brought the Pigs within a run, as they trailed 5-4 with one out in the bottom of the sixth. Andrew Pullin then stepped to the dish and sent a fly ball deep enough to score Mora from third to tie the game at 5.
The Pigs had their chances to put the game away in the bottom of the eighth and 11th inning, leaving two runners in scoring position in the eighth and the bases loaded in the 11th.
Scranton would take their early 5-1 advantage off a two-run home run in the second inning, and a solo home run by Miguel Andújar to lead off the top of the fifth. The RailRiders added three runs in between the homers as they took their 5-1 advantage into the bottom of the sixth.
Six IronPigs relievers would combine to not allow a run through the final six innings of the contest. Vìctor Arano made his Pigs debut, tossing two scoreless innings in the 10th and 11th while striking out a pair to keep the game tied at 5.
Pat Venditte was awarded the win, after tossing the top of the 12th inning while striking out a batter.
The Pigs have now won their last seven games, including a four-game sweep against the RailRiders to end the season. Whereas, the RailRiders have lost their last six contests.
The best-of-five series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders continues with game two Thursday at Coca-Cola Park.
