Jackson, Tenn. - The Generals finished off their penultimate home series strong, downing the Biloxi Shuckers 6-2 Sunday night. Victor Reyes and Emilio Bonifacio led the way on offense with two hits apiece, as Jackson scored six runs in a game for the first time since August 7.

Jackson (25-30, 62-63) managed to do some damage against a former General to get the win. Forrest Snow, who spent parts of four seasons in Jackson while with Seattle, took the loss Sunday night. Down 1-0 the third inning, Bonifacio and Reyes both reached and would score thanks largely to a Biloxi error.

In the fourth, Bonifacio drove home a run with an RBI triple before scoring on a Reyes single to give Jackson a 4-1. Snow (5-3, 3.40) allowed four runs on seven hits over 3.1 innings in just his second start for Biloxi.

Biloxi (27-26, 63-59) scored a run in the top of the third on a wild pitch, and the Shuckers cut Jackson's lead to two in the fifth with a Tyrone Taylor home run. Those were the only runs surrendered by Ryan Atkinson (2-2, 6.06), who picked up his second win at Double-A behind five solid innings.

The offense added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning, with Emilio Bonifacio again playing a role. After a Kelly Dugan pinch-hit single to begin the frame, Bonifacio doubled to put the Generals in front by three runs. He would score later on the inning on a Kevin Cron single, giving Cron 85 RBI on the season. Bonifacio finished the night with a pair of extra base hits, two runs batted, three runs scored, a walk and a stolen base.

Jackson's bullpen combined for four shutout innings behind Atkinson. Mason McCullough, Yuhei Nakaushiro and Andury Acevedo gave up just two hits and two walks to finish off the victory. The Generals wrapped up the series with wins in two of the final three games against Biloxi.

The Generals hit the road on Monday for five games against Pensacola.
