MercyMe to Play June 3rd Concert at The Ballpark at Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson Generals and Rush Productions are excited to welcome MercyMe to Jackson, announcing on Tuesday plans for a concert at The Ballpark at Jackson on Thursday, June 3rd. MercyMe is a Grammy-nominated American contemporary Christian band and the winner of eight Dove Awards since its inception in Edmond, Oklahoma in 1994. The opening act for the show is Micah Tyler.
MercyMe has produced nine studio albums and had seven different singles reach number one on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. Some of their most notable hits include “I Can Only Imagine”, “Word of God Speak”, “Shake”, and their most recent No.1 single from their 2017 album Lifer, “Even If”.
The MercyMe concert continues a prestigious list of musical acts to preform at The Ballpark in recent years. Former performers include, Nelly, Jake Owen, Chris Janson, Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss. The Generals plan to announce additional shows at The Ballpark for 2021 in the coming weeks.

The show will allow a maximum of 3,600 guests and ticket price for all seating is $32.50. All tickets can be purchased online at MercyMe.org or at rushconcerts.com. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday April,14th at 10 a.m. for all followers of the Generals Facebook page. Use the promo code mercyme at checkout for all pre-sale tickets. The general public can purchase tickets to the show starting Friday April,16th at 10 a.m.

The June 3rd concert will start at 7 p.m. with gates scheduled to open at 6 p.m. Parking at The Ballpark will be $10 per vehicle.
