Community First Credit Union unveils Jumbo Shrimp VISA Debit Card

Fans can save on ballpark purchases and at regional merchant partners with co-branded card

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and their presenting sponsor, Community First Credit Union, launched a new co-branded Jumbo Shrimp VISA Debit Card with merchant discounts at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville Friday afternoon.

 

Unveiled by the Jumbo Shrimp mascots Scampi and Southpaw, along with Jumbo Shrimp owner Ken Babby and Community First executives, the Jumbo Shrimp VISA Debit Card* is available to anyone who is a member of the credit union. Anyone who lives or works in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam or St. Johns counties is eligible to become a member of Community First.

 

At the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, fans who use the Jumbo Shrimp VISA Debit Card will receive a 10 percent discount on merchandise purchases, a free small fountain drink with any purchase and $2 off tickets purchased on game day at the box office. A full suite of fan discounts and other perks across the region will also be available through the Jumbo Shrimp's merchant program.

*Community First is federally insured by NCUA. The Jumbo Shrimp is responsible for managing all discounts and offers related to the Jumbo Shrimp debit card. Merchants are responsible for coordinating and setting up all merchant offers. Community First is not responsible for setting up or managing any merchant discount. An initial deposit of $5 to be held in a Community First Share account is required for membership.
