Jumbo Shrimp Homestand Highlights July 12-16
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union continues with the second series of a nine-game homestand through Monday, July 16. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Biloxi Shuckers, Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, for a five-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:
Thursday, July 12, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, along the right-field concourse, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands. DJ Swagg and DJ MoneyGud will provide music at the Budweiser Tiki Terrace.
As Seen on TV Night: From the Sham-wow to the Slap-Chop and the Gopher to the Shake-weight...the in-game contests will feature great American TV products, including a $500 Shake-weight contest!

NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks: Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office) for the Friday night game. Following the game, the Jumbo Shrimp have NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks!
Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Jumbo Shrimp wear red "Bold City" jerseys every Friday.
Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour: Miller Lite $1 12-oz. beers and $1 off craft beer specials are available in the Craft Cave near the third-base gate from gates opening until 7:30 p.m. every Friday.
National French Fry Day: Build Your Own Fries at the All American Jax and Southern Fried concession stands.

Ace Ventura Night: The Jumbo Shrimp salute the greatest pet kidnapping movie with a visit from TD, the Miami Dolphins Mascot.
Sunday, July 15, 3:05 p.m. (Gates open at 2 p.m.)
Words with Fans: To celebrate the 70th birthday of an iconic American board game, the Jumbo Shrimp will play in specialty game-board jerseys and hats. Select jerseys will be auctioned during the game, with the rest in an online auction. The first 1,000 fans will receive 8-point J-Shrimp tile coasters. The reigning 2017 North American Scrabble Champion, Will Anderson, will throw a first pitch and attempt to break the record for most simultaneous games of Scrabble by an individual. Fans can donate a book at the gate to the Florida Baptist Children's Home to receive $1 off a game day reserved seat ticket.
Ring Power Touch a Truck: Kids can get their hands on giant equipment from Ring Power.
Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday presented by Baptist Nassau: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as families can play catch on the field, beginning at 2 p.m. A Jumbo Shrimp player autograph booth will be open before the game. Free face painting and balloon animals will be available in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.

VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home: The Jumbo Shrimp feature up to two local nonprofits at each Monday home game. Habitat for Humanity will raise awareness and funds throughout the night through ticket sales and the Launch-A-Ball promotion. Half-Price Yuengling Monday: Every Monday night, 16-oz. Yuengling cans are half-price.
