JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jumbo Shrimp starter Cody Poteet struck out 11 Pensacola Blue Wahoos in seven one-hit innings and J.C. Millan and Stone Garrett each homered Sunday in Jacksonville's 7-1 victory from the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Millan, who collected three hits, began a scoreless second inning with a base hit off Pensacola (40-34, 2-2) reliever Jorge Alcala (5-5). After a pair of strikeouts, Anfernee Seymour walked. Corey Bird followed with an RBI single that put runners on the corners. Jacksonville (31-43, 2-2) then executed a double steal that plated Seymour to make it 2-0.

Joe Dunand doubled with one out in the third. Two batters later, Millan cranked a two-run shot to double the Jumbo Shrimp advantage. Garrett, who reached base three times, followed immediately after with a home run of his own to widen the margin to 5-0.
Garrett walked to begin the sixth and raced around to score two batters later on Seymour's double. After a ground out, Riley Mahan looped an RBI single to left to make it 7-0 Jumbo Shrimp.
Poteet surrendered just one hit and one walk in his seven frames. Pensacola's only run of the game came on Lewin Diaz's RBI double in the ninth.

Sunday's winning raffle number of 1513714018 won a prize of $70.
