BOWLING GREEN, KY - Ronny Simon hit a walk-off triple in the bottom of the ninth to give Bowling Green a 4-3 win over the BlueClaws on Tuesday and hand Jersey Shore their first walk-off loss of the season.

Simon's triple came off Erubiel Armenta (1-1) and scored Heriberto Hernandez, who had singled, from first base. The loss drops the BlueClaws to 9-17 on the year, 1-11 on the road, while Bowling Green improves to 17-10 on the season.

Tied at two in the eighth inning, the BlueClaws took the lead on a one out RBI triple by Johan Rojas to score Andrick Nava. Rojas, however, was stranded at third. Bowling Green tied the game at three on an RBI double by Alika Williams off Dominic Pipkin in the bottom half of the eighth.

Bowling Green took a second inning lead on an RBI triple from Ronny Simon. Jersey Shore came back to tie the game in the third when Andrick Nava's SAC fly brought home DJ Stewart.

Stewart gave the BlueClaws the lead with an RBI single in the fifth before Heriberto Hernandez homered off Jhordany Mezquita to tie the game in the sixth. It was Hernandez's fifth home run of the season.

BlueClaws starter Matt Russell gave up one unearned run over four innings and did not factor in the decision. Andrew Schultz came on and threw a scoreless fifth.

Anthony Molina (1-0) got the last five outs for the Hot Rods to earn the win. Starter John Doaxkis gave up two runs in six innings and did not factor in the decision.

The BlueClaws had six walk-off losses last year, and this was their first since a June 23rd defeat in Brooklyn last summer.

The teams play at 12:05 pm EST/11:05 am CST on Wednesday. RHP Cristian Hernandez starts for Jersey Shore.
