BlueClaws Fall 3-2 in Hudson Valley on Thursday

Jersey Shore (15-21) has dropped two of the first three from the Renegades (22-15) in their seven game series.

The BlueClaws fell behind early on as Josh Breaux hit a first inning SAC fly to put the Renegades up 1-0. They added two more in the second inning as Oliver Dunn hit his second home run of the season and Isaiah Pasteur drove home a run with a groundout.

Herbert Iser, who drove in three runs on Sunday, tried to bring the BlueClaws back. He hit his fourth home run of the season in the fifth inning to put the BlueClaws on the board and then drove in a run on a groundout in the eighth.

BlueClaws starter Ethan Lindow (0-2) gave up three runs over 4.2 innings while Manuel Silva came on in the fifth and threw 2.1 scoreless innings in relief.

Shawn Semple (1-0) earned the win, allowing one run in six innings while striking out 11.

The teams will play a double-header on Friday making up a game rained out on May 30th. The BlueClaws return home on Tuesday, June 29th.
