WILMINGTON, DE - The BlueClaws used a 7-run third inning to blow open the game en route to an 11-3 win over Wilmington on Saturday night at Frawley Stadium.

The win snapped Jersey Shore's (4-7) five-game losing streak and gave them their first win in the series with Wilmington (5-6).

The BlueClaws broke open a 2-2 game with seven runs in the third inning, their largest inning since 2017. Jhailyn Ortiz had a two-run single to put the BlueClaws ahead. Jersey Shore added runs on an RBI single from Rudy Rott and Jonathan Guzman. Keaton Greenwalt added a SAC fly and Hunter Markwardt added an RBI single.

Greenwalt added a seventh inning home run and Bryson Stott added one in the eighth. Greenwalt's homer was his first of the season and Stott added to his team leading total with his third of the year, ninth as a professional.

BlueClaws starter Ben Brown gave up two runs in 3.1 innings. Mike Adams came on in the fourth and threw one pitch, inducing an inning-ending double-play.
