The Renegades broke open a 2-2 game in the seventh. With two outs, Everson Pereira cleared the bases with a three run double to put the Renegades up 5-2. They added four more runs in the eighth, one on an RBI single from Carlos Narvaez and three on a grounder to first by Cooper Bowman that drove in one with two more coming in on a throwing error by Rixon Wingrove.

Kyle Glogoski (0-2) took the loss, charged with two of the three runs in the seventh inning. Edgar Barclay (4-2) earned the win with 3.1 scoreless innings.

Hudson Valley got a run in the first inning without a hit. Trey Sweeney was plunked by Rafael Marcano on the second pitch of the game. After two walks loaded the bases, Sweeney scored when Anthony Seigler grounded into a 5-4-3 double play.

The BlueClaws got a run in the second on a double steal. DJ Stewart stole second and Carlos De La Cruz took home to level the score. De La Cruz had doubled with one out in the inning.

Hudson Valley used the same double steal to re-take the lead in the fourth, with Anthony Seigler scoring as James Nelson stole second base. Seigler, who singled to start the inning, stole second and third earlier in the frame.
