LANCASTER, Calif. - The JetHawks dropped the regular season finale to the Inland Empire 66ers, 10-3, to finish the season with a 78-62 record on Monday evening at The Hangar.

The 66ers (62-78) swept the JetHawks in the final series by putting up 40 runs on 64 hits in the four games.

Vince Velasquez (7-4) lasted two innings in his final regular season start. The right-hander struck out the side in each of his innings but allowed four runs on seven hits including a home run and three doubles.

Lancaster was able to get on the board in the second inning with a two-run double off the bat of Roberto Peña but the 66ers offensive attack kept pushing. Inland Empire tied a season-high with 18 hits.

Eduard Santos (4-4) earned the win with two innings of scoreless relief. David Murillo tossed three scoreless innings to earn the save in his Cal League debut.

Lancaster's third and final run of the regular season came in the third inning. Brett Phillips led off with a walk, moved to second on a wild pitch, went to third on a fly ball and scored on a Ronnie Mitchell run-scoring grounder.
