Greeneville, Tenn. - Boyd Sports, LLC has announced that they will assume the management contract of the Greeneville Reds, the Rookie League Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Boyd Sports, which also operates the Tennessee Smokies and the Johnson City Cardinals, will assume all business operations of the Greeneville Reds.
"We are extremely excited to take the next step towards producing a high quality baseball experience for fans and believe that this partnership with Boyd sports will do just that," stated Jeff Graupe, Senior Director of Player Development for the Cincinnati Reds. "Their understanding of the Appalachian league and the surrounding markets are unparalleled."
The Greeneville Reds will host their games at Pioneer Park on the campus of Tusculum College. The Tusculum College baseball program will continue to play their home games at Pioneer Park.

Boyd Sports will host a press conference during the first week of March to announce staffing, key details about the organization, and answer questions pertaining to the club. The time and date of the press conference will be determined in the coming weeks. The Greeneville Reds will commence the 2018 home campaign on June 19th against the Bristol Pirates.
