JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Rain and inclement weather postponed Tuesday's series finale between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Birmingham Barons at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Rain and inclement weather postponed Tuesday's series finale between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Birmingham Barons at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The game is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader of seven-inning games at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Regular individual tickets for Tuesday's game may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game.

Tuesday marked the eighth postponement (sixth at home) this season for Jacksonville and the seventh for Birmingham. The Jumbo Shrimp have played seven doubleheaders this season, while the Barons have played five.
Tickets from the following rain-impacted dates may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game:

UP NEXT: The Jumbo Shrimp continue their homestand and open a five-game series with Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, when Jacksonville right-hander Chris Mazza (2-7) is scheduled to face Braves right-hander Wes Parsons (2-3). Gates open at 6 p.m. for Mavericks Live and Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, when fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the new Budweiser Tiki Terrace, on the left-field berm, at two locations on the right-field bleachers, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. It is BMD Law Firm Night and St. Johns County Night, for which St. Johns County Chamber members may contact the Jumbo Shrimp in advance for special discounted tickets and sponsorship opportunities. The game is also presented by 95.1 WAPE and X102.9.
