Suns announce 2014 Sunbeams tryouts

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns are looking for the newest Sunbeam squad for the 2014 season with its tryout on Feb. 15.

The annual tryout will take place from Noon until 3 p.m. at the Bailey's Gym on San Jose Blvd. There is also one mandatory pre-audition workshop that participants will need to attend at Bragan on Feb. 12 or 13 from 4-6 p.m. before trying out.

Participants wishing to tryout for the Sunbeams group will need to be women ages 18 or older and pay a $25 audition fee that covers the tryout and workshop. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic with a positive attitude, have a hard work ethic, able to work well with others and some experience or skills as a dancer.

The Jacksonville Sunbeams are an enthusiastic group of young ladies, dedicated to helping the Suns staff with promotions and giveaways, while entertaining all guests of the ballpark with dance routines throughout game.
