After eleven tough games, the Hammerheads finally found their way back to a W with a 1-0 win against the Bradenton Marauders Wednesday evening.
Going into the game, the Hammerheads were coming off three straight sweeps and eleven straight losses, while the Marauders were tied for the top spot of the Florida State League leaderboard. Defying expectations, the Hammerheads shutout the Marauders in a tight 1-0 win to break the streak.

He tied the Jupiter record for strikeouts in a game with thirteen K over 6 2/3 scoreless innings. Besides that, the starter didn't walk a single batter and allowed just two hits during his outing. He attacked the strike zone, throwing 62 strikes in 88 total pitches. His pitches stumped the tough Bradenton lineup all night. Of his thirteen strikeouts, nine batters struck out swinging. His performance on the mound advanced his record to 2-0 for the season.
