Hammerheads can't hold off Threshers

Jupiter, FL. - The Jupiter Hammerheads take the lead in the second inning, but can't hold on to win the game. Their overall record drops to 68-63 on the season.
Taking the mound to start for the Hammerheads was left handed pitcher Daniel Castano (5-8, 4.74 ERA). Castano threw ninety-seven pitches and struck out seven batters for his six and two thirds inning of work. This held off the Threshers until the seventh inning when two errors and a pair of singles would allow them to fight back and score their winning two runs. Alejandro Mateo would come in to finish the seventh inning for Castano. Mateo (2-1 3.31 ERA) would face six batters, striking out two, walking two and only allowing one hit. Zech Lemond (3-0, 0.64 ERA) would close the game for the Hammerheads as he faced four batters, striking out one and giving up one walk.
The 'Heads would score their only run in the bottom of the second inning. Gunnar Schubert would lead the inning off with a walk, Harrison Dinicola would single through the hole at second base. Cameron Baranek would hit a single to shortstop allowing Schubert to score from second base. The Hammerheads were sunk with three consecutive outs following their only run and bats would stay quiet the rest of the game. Cameron Baranek would have the team's only run batted in, Stone Garrett would acquire two hits, and Gunnar Schubert would take the only walk.
