Closing off a tough sereies, the Jupiter Hammerheads lost their fourth and final game against the Dunedin Blue Jays, 6-2.
Lefty Braxton Garrett had a shorter start, pitching 3.2 innings with two runs, one of which was unearned, two walks and six strikeouts.
Over the course of four Jupiter relievers, the Blue Jays built up their run column to six. Colton Hock allowed one unearned run in the seventh and Chad Smith allowed three runs in the ninth.
Vincenzo Aiello had another scoreless outing, his seventh of the season out of nine games played. In his first appearance with the Hammerheads, Tanner Andrews got the final two outs of the game.
Jose Devers had two hits, extending his hitting streak to nine games. Víctor Víctor Mesa also went 2-4 on the day, one of which produced one of the two Hammerhead runs.  Garrett Cooper recorded another three hits in his rehab assignment with the Hammerheads.
In the ninth, Micah Brown crossed the plate for the second run of the night after Connor Grant reached base on an error. A single from Devers put two men on base with Mesa up to bat and Cooper on deck, but with two outs a ground out closed out the game, 2-6.
To finish off the month, the Hammerheads will take a day off before facing Bradenton at home on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 pm. For tickets visit jupiterhammerheads.com/tickets.
