Jupiter fell behind early in Tuesday night's 4-3 loss against Tampa after Jorge Guzman allowed a three run homer to Tampa's center fielder Dom Thompson-Williams.

Guzman, who will be attending the MLB All-Star Futures Game in Washington DC on July 15th allowed no runs after first inning and finished after six innings striking out eight batters with only three hits.

Jorgan Cavanerio entered the game in the seventh inning and rung up three batters while keeping the Tarpons hitless through the two inning he pitched.

Esmerling De La Rosa came into a 3-3 game in the top of the ninth inning but was unable to keep it that way. In the one inning he pitched the 27 year old allowed one run off of two hits.

Jupiter's pitching staff Tuesday night held Tampa to five hits but the walks that led to three early runs spoiled the night.

On the other side of the ball Cameron Baranek, Lazaro Alonso, and Bubba Hollins all had two hit games with Hollins adding two RBI to his night as well.

Hollins' first RBI of the night came in the second inning on a ground out that sent Jhonny Santos home from third base. The Buffalo native's second RBI also sent Santos home but came from a single hit to left field in the sixth inning.

In Tuesday's loss, which makes the losing streak now eight in a row, Jupiter went 1-13 with runners in scoring position and are now 4-31 with RISP over the last two games.

The Hammerheads and the Tarpons face off again Wednesday night at 6:30 in what should be another close game. Tickets and more information can be found at Rogerdeanchevroletstadium.com/tickets-events.
