The Hammerheads got off to a quick start in Thursday night's 9-3 win, as they scored six of their nine runs in the first two innings.

The first inning consisted of four runs as well as Jupiter batting through the order. Anfernee Seymour starting the game out with a single then scored from first base on a fielding error, also sending Riley Mahan to second. Roy Morales, Aaron Knapp, and Luis Pintor all recorded one RBI in the first inning as well.

Two more runs were scored by Jupiter in the second inning off the bat of Lazaro Alonso who hit his first homerun of the season, a two run shot.

In the Hammerheads final inning at the plate, the bottom of the eighth, three more runs were scored. Luis Pintor recorded his second RBI and third hit of the night on a double which sent home Morales. Cameron Baranek scored from third base on a wild pitch on the next at bat. Later in the inning Anfernee Seymour sent Pintor home from third for what would be the final run for Jupiter.

Brady Puckett started on the mound tonight pitching seven innings and allowing two runs, the starter is now 4-0 on the season with an ERA of 2.70.

Jorgan Cavanerio entered the game in the eighth inning, pitching in only the eighth. The righty gave up a homer in his one inning pitched but allowed just the one run in the inning. Zech Lemond replaced Cavanerio in the ninth inning to close out the game for Jupiter. Lemond allowed just one hit and no runs, with eleven inning pitched for the Hammerheads he now has an ERA of just 0.75.
