Rogers throws 10 K in Jupiter loss to Charlotte

In the second game of the three-game series against the Charlotte Stone Crabs, Trevor Rogers gave a good effort in his start, but 2-run innings bookended the game to give the Stone Crabs a 4-1 victory.
Trevor Rogers had another solid start on the mound. Despite Charlotte scoring twice in the first, neither of the runs were earned so Rogers still left the mound with an improved 2.18 ERA. He finished seven innings with an impressive line: 5 H, 2 R, 0 ER and a season-high 10 K.
The Hammerheads scored their lone run in the third when Riley Mahan hit an RBI single to score Micah Brown, who reached on a walk.
Seven out of the nine Jupiter Batters recorded a hit on the night, nearly matching the Stone Crabs eight hits, but a tough ninth inning solidified the Crabs 4-2 win.
