Micro Monday, Thirsty Thursday and new Ballpark Beer Fest highlight homestand

GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars, Class-A Minor League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, welcome the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians) and Fort Wayne TinCaps (San Diego Padres) to town for a six-game homestand. Highlights include Miro Monday deals, Thirsty Thursday and the new Ballpark Beer Fest, presented by The PRIDE Stores!

Monday, May 7 vs. Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians) - 6:30 PM (Gates open at 5:30 PM) - WBIG 1280 AM (6:15 PM)

• Micro Monday - half-price premium and craft beers

Homestand Notes

Weekly Specials - Enjoy Micro Monday deals on May 7 with premium and craft beers available for 50% off. On Tuesday, seniors 65+ can purchase discounted tickets while all seniors age 65+ eat for free on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thirsty Thursday, presented by Miller Lite, will take place on May 10 with $1 beers, sodas and hot dogs.

Cougars Reading Club - The Cougars reading incentive program is back for its third decade in 2018. This season, the program includes more than 400 Chicago area schools and 125,000 students who are improving their reading skills through the Cougars Reading Club. Participating students who complete reading goals set by their respective teachers are awarded a ticket to an April or May Cougars game, a food voucher, official Cougars Reading Club bag and the opportunity to participate in the pre-game on-field parade. The Cougars Reading Club is sponsored by Cantigny Park, The PRIDE Stores and Oberweis.

Ballpark Beer Fest - The new Ballpark Beer Fest, presented by The PRIDE Stores, is happening on the outfield deck May 12. Attendees will be allowed 18 three ounce samples from their souvenir beer glass as well as the opportunity to partake in the first pour of the Cougars new team beer, brewed by Tangled Roots. Beer Fest attendees will also be the first to sample the new brew. Tickets are on sale now for $45 in advance or $55 on the day of the game. The Beer Fest will run from Noon-4 PM with first pitch against your Cougars and the Fort Wayne TinCaps scheduled for 1 PM.
