INTIMIDATORS TEAM WITH PSC TO ENHANCE FAN EXPERIENCE

KANNAPOLIS, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators formed a new partnership with Professional Sports Catering, the leader in Minor League Baseball foodservice, to offer fans the best in ballpark fare during the team's final season at Intimidators Stadium supported by Atrium Health. After the 2019 season, PSC will transition into the Kannapolis Sports and Entertainment Venue, slated to open in April of 2020, as the team's official concessionaire.
Professional Sports Catering is no stranger to North Carolina professional baseball with partnerships with the Asheville Tourists, Charlotte Knights and Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Current PSC CEO Tom Dickson co-founded the company in 2006 with the sole mission of delivering world class food and beverage experiences to minor league baseball fans. In 2014, PSC joined the Levy Restaurants family and has grown into the industry leader with over 25 top minor league teams in its portfolio.
"Our goal is to constantly improve the experience for our fans at games, and food and beverage represents a big part of the fun at any ballpark. I have worked with Professional Sports Catering before and know firsthand their commitment to providing the highest quality and best variety of food and drink from a skybox suite to the grandstand," remarked Intimidators GM Matt Millward.
Intimidators fans will notice immediate enhancements to the menu at 2019 home games with new portable carts offering a wide variety of sausages and deluxe nachos. PSC and the Intimidators have revamped the menu offerings at the team's main concessions areas to speed service for the fanbase's favorite items.

"With their vision, the future of professional baseball in Kannapolis is incredibly exciting. We've jumped in with two feet to add several fan enhancements for this season, while at the same time working with our partner to design a food and beverage program for the new ballpark that will ensure the fan experience is in a league of its own."
Season tickets for the 2019 season, including Founders Club memberships ensuring priority season seat selection at the team's new home in 2020, are on sale now at IntimidatorsBaseball.com. Opening Day for the team's final season at the Intimidators Stadium supported by Atrium Health is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. against the Rome Braves.
Sports and Entertainment Venue: The Kannapolis Sports and Entertainment Venue will anchor the Downtown Kannapolis Revitalization Project. It is designed as a city park with daily access to the public, a kids' zone and with the ability to accommodate special events year-round in addition to the 70 professional baseball games the franchise plays. The venue, with a capacity of 4,930 for baseball, will feature luxury suites, picnic terrace areas, an outfield bar and 6,000 square feet of club/banquet space.
