Military Heroes Baseball Card Set

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Linn County Veterans Affairs Office, Metro Veterans Council and Cedar Rapids Kernels are seeking nominations for the first Military Heroes Baseball Card Set, to be given away to the first 1,000 fans at the Cedar Rapids Kernels game on Friday, July 4, 2014.

Nominate your military hero (active duty, retired or posthumous) and include information about their military career and what they mean to you. Please include a brief service history along with a brief story about them.

Thirty-five submissions will be randomly selected for the card set.

Nominations are being accepted now through Friday, January 24, 2014. Those selected for the set will be recognized on the field prior to the game on July 4^th and will receive four tickets to that game.
