Cedar Rapids, IA - The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced today that the City of Cedar Rapids will be the host for the NCAA Division III Baseball World Series, to be held at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium starting in 2019.
The dates of the Division III World Series will be:
May 31 to June 5, 2019 • May 29 to June 3, 2020
June 4 to June 9, 2021 • June 3 to June 8, 2022
The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) will be the host conference and institution for the Division III World Series in Cedar Rapids. Perfect Game Field has been the host of the IIAC Baseball Tournament since 2004.
The Division III World Series has been played at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, WI since 2000, and the event will move to Cedar Rapids following the 2018 World Series.
The Kernels are in the midst of a three-game road trip at Peoria through April 19th. They return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday, April 20th and open a seven-game home stand with games against Kane County and Burlington.
