FREDERICK, MD-The Frederick Keys are excited to announce that the team's annual Holiday Event will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 10 a.m-1 p.m. As always, this free event will take place in the Mattress Warehouse Club at Nymeo Field, while fans of all ages are encouraged to attend.

"It's fun to get into the spirt of the season with our great fans," said Keys Promotions and Creative Services Manager, DeForest Garcia. "The Keys holiday event features something for everyone, including a chance to get some last minute shopping done."

The Keys team store will be open, giving fans a chance to purchase a variety of hats, shirts, sweat shirts and other apparel for loved ones. Additionally, ticket plans will be available for purchase for the 2018 season. This year, ANY ticket plan comes with your choice of either of a Trey Mancini or Austin Hays bobblehead. These are exclusive items and can ONLY be acquired by purchasing a ticket plan.

Youngsters can also enlighten Keyote Claus about their Christmas wish lists, as the jolly old relative of Keys mascot, Keyote, will be making a special trip down from the North Pole. Other fun activities include a Holiday cooKEY contest. Fans are encouraged to bring their favorite batch of holiday cookies to be sampled, while the winner will receive a special prize.

The Holiday Event also marks one of the last chances to contribute to the Toys for Tots Drive. Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy receive a Keys hat and two tickets to a 2018 home game. Donations are currently being accepted during normal business hours (9-5) Monday through Friday by visiting the main office at Nymeo Field. The final collection day is Thursday, December 14.

The Frederick Keys kickoff their home schedule on Thursday, April 12 against the Potomac Nationals. For a complete look at this year's home schedule fans can click here. To follow the Keys all offseason, fans can visit
