Keys and Blue Rocks Postponed

Doubleheader Slated for Sunday Afternoon

WILMINGTON, DE -The Frederick Keys and the Wilmington Blue Rocks have been postponed due to rain. Saturday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m from Frawley Stadium. Both contests will be seven innings.

Sunday will be the Keys sixth doubleheader of the season, the most in the Carolina League. Frederick has won three twinbills to go with one split and one loss. Following the doubleheader the Keys will travel to Salem, VA to play four games against the Red Sox.

In game one, the Keys will start right-hander Cristian Alvarado (2-2, 6.52) against Blue Rocks lefty Foster Griffin (2-2, 3.46). In game two, left-hander Brian Gonzalez (2-2, 4.80) starts for the orange and black against Rocks right-hander Jared Ruxer (2-1, 3.45). Both games can be heard on 1450 AM The Source, and the TuneIn radio app.

Frederick returns home on Friday, May 19 when the Blue Rocks make their first visit of the year. It is Family Fitness Weekend, while there will be appearances by Redskins safety Deshazor Everett on May 19 and former NBA star Muggsy Bogues on May 20.
