(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights will welcome local performance groups interested in showing off their talents at BB&T Ballpark this season. With Opening Knight (April 6th) just around the corner, the Knights are looking for dance teams, church choirs, martial arts squads, school bands, gymnastics schools, and more to perform for fans during the team's 30th season in franchise history. Each performance will take place during the pre-game and consist of a 5-7 minute on field routine.

"We are very pleased to welcome local organizations to BB&T Ballpark to perform for fans this season," stated Knights Chief Operating Officer Dan Rajkowski. "There are so many talented fans who come out to the ballpark each night and we want to provide them with an experience of a lifetime. What better way for them to showcase their talents than on the field for all of our fans to see."

Performance slots will be available at Sunday through Wednesday games and groups must purchase a minimum of 50 tickets to be eligible. There will be a limit of one group performance per game and the bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Group tickets are currently available for a special rate of just $12 per seat. For more information or to book your performance group today, please contact the Charlotte Knights Group Sales Department at or at 704-274-8300 x 1975.
