RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif - The longest game of the season (4:03) for the Padres' affiliate also was the most productive of 2019. The Storm scored in six of nine innings while posting season highs in hits (19) and runs in a 14-8 win against the Dodgers' affiliate, Rancho Cucamonga.
The game was tied 4-4 after four innings, but the Storm scored nine runs over the next two innings to surge in front, defeating the Quakes for the third time in 12 meetings and even the five-game series at one game apiece.
