LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The Lake Elsinore Storm Professional Baseball Team is honored to once again participate in Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversión, a Hispanic/Latinx outreach initiative, though this year will be the start of something completely new and unique.
Storm Baseball, in partnership with the City of Lake Elsinore, is eager to share its new identity for designated Copa games in 2019. The organization invites the residents and neighbors of Lake Elsinore and all Storm faithful throughout the surrounding communities to a logo unveiling party at City Park off South Main Street in Lake Elsinore on Saturday, March 23 from 11am-1pm.
"It'll be a festive, family fun atmosphere with music, dancing and great food," said Storm General Manager, Raj Narayanan. "And we're going to have a new ball club in town traveling from time to time in the 2019 Storm season."
The family-friendly event, FREE to the public, will include a FREE hot dog, chips & drink voucher to the first 250 event goers good at a 2019 Cadejos game, as well as a live DJ, folklórico performances, inflatables, local vendors, food trucks, along with merchandise & ticket buying opportunities tailored around the club's new Copa identity.
