Wintertime banquet proceeds to benefit SLAMT1D

The Vermont Lake Monsters are pleased to announce their participation in "Snowballs and Baseballs", a Wintertime Banquet to benefit SLAMT1D on Saturday January 28th at the Hilton Burlington on Battery Street. Featuring a pre-dinner cocktail hour and registration starting at 6:00 pm, a plated dinner, and both live and silent auctions, this winter's event will be headlined by Major League Baseball outfielder Sam Fuld, who lives with Type 1 Diabetes.

The evening will also include an interactive panel, revisiting the 2004 Boston Red Sox "Breaking the Curse" season, with former Boston Red Sox and current Los Angeles Front Office Executive Galen Carr, and 2004 Red Sox 10-game winner Bronson Arroyo.

Proceeds from the Banquet will benefit SLAMT1D, a Vermont based organization that hosts grassroots sporting events that encourage children and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes to live life in full, in addition to organizing and funding Vermont's only overnight camp for children with T1D at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Tickets for the Banquet are $59 each and $ 440 for tables of 8. Tickets are onsale now through January 24th.
