Alfred Gutierrez Added to 2018 Florida State League All-Star Team

Lakeland, FL - Flying Tigers pitcher Alfred Gutierrez has been selected to the 2018 Florida State League (FSL) All-Star team. Gutierrez joins teammates Daz Cameron, Isaac Paredes, Eduardo Jiménez and Spenser Watkins as selections to the team. Austin Athmann was also selected but is currently injured and will not play

Lakeland, FL - Flying Tigers pitcher Alfred Gutierrez has been selected to the 2018 Florida State League (FSL) All-Star team. Gutierrez joins teammates Daz Cameron, Isaac Paredes, Eduardo Jiménez and Spenser Watkins as selections to the team. Austin Athmann was also selected but is currently injured and will not play in the game. The 57^th annual FSL All-Star Game will take place at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, home of the Tampa Tarpons, on Saturday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Alfred Gutierrez currently leads the Flying Tigers in batting average against (.194) and is second on the team in ERA (2.04) and WHIP (0.96). He has allowed only 28 hits in 39.2 innings pitched with 47 strikeouts. Gutierrez, 23, was signed by the Detroit Tigers as a non-drafted free agent on January 16, 2012.
