The promotion originated as a way for the BlueClaws and the Asbury Park Press to give back to area families, and because of the success of Asbury Park Press Dollar Days over the last several seasons, the APP graciously offered to bring the program back again this year.

"With the outstanding projects coming to the ballpark, like a Mini Golf Course and boardwalk games, I know that this is going to be an even better summer with the BlueClaws," said Tom Donovan, President & Publisher of the Asbury Park Press. "We are very pleased to be able to offer Dollar Weekend again. I encourage everyone to come out to the ballpark, relax and enjoy the great atmosphere at a BlueClaws baseball game."

At each game, the first 1,500 fans receive a BlueClaws Magnetic Schedule thanks to New Jersey Natural Gas.

Saturday, April 14th (4:05 pm) - Tickets will be just $1 and Kids Run the Bases after the game. Ballpark gates will open at 3:00 pm.

Sunday, April 15th (1:05 pm) - The last day of APP Dollar Weekend is Buster's Birthday and we'll celebrate with his mascot friends. Plus, Kids Eat Free thanks to ShopRite and Kids Run the Bases after the game. Gates open at 12 noon.

"We're grateful to the Asbury Park Press and for their support of our Dollar Days again this year," said Joe Ricciutti, BlueClaws President & General Manager.
