The BlueClaws will kick-off the season at FirstEnergy Park with a free exhibition game on April 2nd.
LAKEWOOD NJ - The 2019 BlueClaws will make their FirstEnergy Park debut on Tuesday, April 2nd as they host an exhibition game against Mercer County Community College.
The game will start at 6:30 pm with gates opening at 6:00 pm. Admission is free and seating is General Admission.
The April 2nd game also marks the BlueClaws debut of the team's new manager, Mike Micucci. He enters his first season in the Phillies organization after previously working with the Mariners, Angels, Rangers and Cubs.
"We are very excited to host Mercer County Community College and officially open FirstEnergy Park for the season," said BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti. "We look forward to a good crowd on hand to welcome to the team to the Shore."
Ballpark concession stands will be open during the game.
Mercer County Community College is coached by Fred Carella, who was named as the program's head coach in July of 2018.
The 2019 season opens on Thursday, April 4th against Hickory (Rangers) on 6:35 pm with Opening Night (presented by Jenkinson's Boardwalk) at FirstEnergy Park. Single-game tickets for all 2019 BlueClaws home games will go on sale on Saturday, March 16th from 10 am until 1 pm at FirstEnergy Park and online sales begin on Saturday at 10 am as well.
Single-game tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for juniors/seniors, and $10 for active and former military personnel. General Admission tickets are $12 and will be available when reserve seats are sold out.
The BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment. Last year, they opened a brand-new Mini Golf Course, the Toyota World of Lakewood Home Run Pavilion with top boardwalk games, and Biergarten at FirstEnergy Park and this year the team is revamping their two Investors Bank Picnic Areas.
