BlueClaws Fans,
On behalf of our Front Office Staff, we would like to thank you for your tremendous support of the BlueClaws in 2018. From Opening Day until our final playoff game, you have remained loyal and supportive of the BlueClaws and for that we are especially grateful.
This year saw the ballpark undergo its most substantial renovation project since our opening in 2001. The new BlueClaws Mini Golf Course, the new Toyota World Home Run Pavilion, and the new Biergarten proved very popular and we are excited about what is to come next year.
While the April 4th home opener may seem a long ways away, the memories made this summer will carry you through the fall and winter. Soon enough, we'll all re-convene at our favorite summer destination, and start anew.
I would like to take a moment and congratulate our manager Marty Malloy, his coaching staff, and the players on a wonderful season. The BlueClaws became just the sixth team in SAL history to win both halves of the South Atlantic League season. Plus, the team set a franchise wins record with 87 and led all of Minor League Baseball in team both ERA and shutouts. It was a magical summer.
Additionally, I would also like to thank our Gameday Staff for their dedication and hard work all summer long. In many ways, they are the backbone of the organization. They interact positively with every fan and are keys to helping us operate as we do.
While this is goodbye, it's only goodbye for 2018. Thank you again for giving the BlueClaws the best fans in Minor League Baseball.
Until 2019…
Yours In Fun
Joe Ricciutti
