Three Phillies Among MLB.com's Top 100 Prospects
Three Phillies prospects, including former BlueClaws Alec Bohm and Spencer Howard, were listed among MLB Pipeline's Top 100 Prospects in their pre-season list announced last week.

Bohm, ranked #30, opened the 2019 season with the BlueClaws. He spent 22 games with Lakewood, hitting .367 with three home runs and 11 RBIs with an OPS of 1.036. After a late-April promotion to Clearwater, he hit .329 in 40 games with the Threshers. Bohm finished the season with Reading, where he hit .269 with 14 home runs in 63 games.
Howard, ranked #34, spent 2018 with the BlueClaws. where he was 9-8 with a 3.78 ERA and 147 strikeouts in 112 innings. He also threw a no-hitter in the SAL Northern Division Championship Series, propelling the BlueClaws into the South Atlantic League Championship Series.

The right-hander from Cal-Poly split 2019 between Clearwater and Reading, where he pitched to a combined 1.78 ERA over 13 starts. Howard was mentioned in their Best Tools write-up for top changeup.
The third Phillies player to make the list was shortstop Bryson Stott, who checked in at #87. Stott was the 14th overall pick in the 2019 draft out of UNLV. He hit .274 with five home runs in 44 games with Williamsport this summer.
2017 BlueClaws pitcher Sixto Sanchez, who was traded to the Marlins in the deal that brought All-Star catcher JT Realmuto to Philadelphia, was ranked #22 overall.
