LANCASTER, Calif. - The Lancaster JetHawks are excited to announce an extension of their Player Development Contract (PDC), with the Colorado Rockies. The agreement assures that Lancaster will remain the High-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies through at least the 2020 season. The Rockies became the 5th Major League affiliate in the history of the JetHawks, when the original agreement was signed prior to the 2017 season.

"We could not be more excited to extend our partnership with the Colorado Rockies," stated JetHawks Co-Owner, Jake Kerr. "Over the last two years we have developed a wonderful relationship with the Rockies and are thrilled to have them here for at least the next two seasons."
"We'd like to thank the entire Rockies organization for their commitment to Lancaster and the Antelope Valley. Both on and off the field, the Colorado Rockies have proven to be a first-class organization," added Co-Owner, Jeff Mooney.
On the field, the Rockies saw immediate success in Lancaster as the 2017 squad captured the South Division Championship, prior to falling in the California League Championship Series. This season, the JetHawks have again had another great year on the field and are currently in wild card contention for the 2018 playoffs.
"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with the Lancaster JetHawks and look forward to continuing to provide exciting baseball on the field as well as impacting the community off the field. We thank the fans and the JetHawks family for their continued support of our minor league players and staff and the Colorado Rockies organization," stated Rockies Senior Director, Player Development Zach Wilson
