Lancaster JetHawks Seeking Part Time Ticket Sales Representatives

The Lancaster JetHawks are hiring for part-time ticket sales representatives. Whether you are looking to get your foot in the door in the sports industry or want to learn the craft of selling, this position is for you. The JetHawks are the High-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies and play at "The Hangar" in Lancaster, CA
We are looking for individuals who would like to gain experience and learn the art of selling through an aggressive outbound call campaign and interacting with ticket buyers at select Lancaster JetHawks games. This position will be primarily responsible for selling Lancaster JetHawks ticket packages to individuals. Most of your time will be spent making phone calls to prospects including past single game ticket buyers. Your job will primarily be to selling Lancaster JetHawks ticket packages to these people. This position will average 12-20 hours per week depending on the JetHawks home schedule.
Ideal candidate will have the drive to learn what it takes to be in sales and the ability to close sales. A one week training session will be provided to all new representatives, along with additional 1 hour training sessions each week.
Task and Responsibilities:
• Make phone calls to prospective buyers to sell Lancaster JetHawks Ticket Packages
• Maintain high call volume each shift
• Ability to overcome objections and close the sale
• Thrive in a competitive environment while still being part of a team
• Work Select JetHawks home games at sales table and making in-seat visits to potential clients
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
• Clear and effective communicator via the telephone
• Drive to be successful
• Self-motivated
Rate of Pay:
$12 per hour plus generous commission structure
Hours:
4:00-7pm Monday Through Thursday
With additional hours on select Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays when JetHawks play at home.
